I’ve been creating large-scale acrylic paintings for over 30 years, and I also have a keen interest in photography. I work between my two New Zealand bases, in Auckland and Arrowtown.

My art journey has been one of constant discovery and growth. I’ve honed my craft through exploration, experimentation, and dedication. Each piece I create is an extension of my evolving artistic voice, and I’m always seeking to push the boundaries of my work.

With a style that blends abstract expressionism and impressionist florals, my background as a dressage competitor and judge also inspired an earlier series of equine works, capturing the grace and energy of horses. 

Recently I’ve extended my practice to the delicate beauty of watercolour, focusing on simple floral compositions. I love how watercolour paints have a life of their own, flowing in unexpected ways to create unique, beautiful results.

Outside of art I enjoy life in Arrowtown, in New Zealand‘s South Island. I’m passionate about skiing and mountain biking, and draw much inspiration from photographing the mountains and stunning scenery around my home.
